The Tracy Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Kimball Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Tracy sitting on five straight wins and Kimball on eight.
Tracy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt West on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolfpack an 18-0 shutout. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Hayden Fell was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, Tracy got a massive performance out of Taylor Sansaver, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits Sansaver has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Taylor Munoz, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.
Tracy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Kimball beat West 5-2 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly three runs.
Briana Quintero looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Saige Dodds was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Kimball's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tracy, their record is now 12-2.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tracy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Kimball struggles in that department as they've averaged .312. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tracy couldn't quite finish off Kimball in their previous meeting back in March and fell 7-5. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
