Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountainside). Everything went their way against the Centennial Eagles on Thursday as the Mountainside Mavericks made off with a 68-47 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mavericks considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Mountainside's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Mountainside will take on Central Catholic in a tournament on December 26th. As for Centennial, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Salem at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
