The Craigmont Chiefs lost against the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs on January 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Craigmont lost to Raleigh-Egypt at home by a decisive 71-52 margin. Craigmont has not had much luck with Raleigh-Egypt recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Craigmont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Quentin Curry, who scored 16 points. Tashun Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Craigmont's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Raleigh-Egypt, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Millington Central the next time they take the court. Craigmont will head out to face Millington Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Raleigh-Egypt will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
