Pattonville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Hazelwood West Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 on Monday.

Pattonville got a great performance from Brayden Wishard as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The Pirates are undefeated when Wishard allows three or fewer hits, but 10-12 otherwise.

Pattonville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Pattonville now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Hazelwood West, their loss was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-20-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pattonville will venture away from home to take on Parkway North at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hazelwood West, they will square off against Mehlville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
