Basketball Recap: Vandegrift Drops Highest Score of Season Against Savio

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vandegrift). They blew past the Savio Eagles, posting a 64-31 victory. The Vipers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 31st (when they won 74-39).

Vandegrift is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Savio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Vandegrift will take on Round Rock at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savio, they will head out to face off against Rouse at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
