The Grace Academy Knights will head out on the road to square off against New Life Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Grace Academy ended up a good deal behind the Flames and lost 46-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grace Academy has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Peter Ciardiello, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 42.9% of Grace Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronan Casey, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, New Life Christian pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a rough 78-55 defeat at the hands of Heritage Academy.
Grace Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for New Life Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Grace Academy came up short against the in their previous meeting last Monday, falling 70-58. Can Grace Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
