Basketball Game Preview: Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions vs. South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association has gone 8-2 against South Guilford HomeSchool recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association had a senior duo take command as Colt Crump shot 64% from the field en route to 26 points and Xavier DeLeeuw went 6-for-15 to rack up 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crump has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Everett Barker, who posted seven points and six boards.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when South Guilford HomeSchool and South Charlotte meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Cougars fell 67-62 to the Thunder.

The victory got Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association back to even at 4-4. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
