The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rattlers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1059th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 507th).

Meanwhile, Early was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 41-35 to Eastland.

Tolar is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-17 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Early, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Tolar strolled past Early in their previous matchup on January 7th by a score of 57-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tolar since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
