Even though the St. Henry Crusaders scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, the Scott Eagles still came out on top. Scott secured a 61-57 W over St. Henry. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Scott has scored all year.
Xarek Sarakatsannis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Eten, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Scott and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for St. Henry, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott and Mason County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mason County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for St. Henry, they will play host again and welcome Villa Madonna, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Villa Madonna is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
