The El Camino Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Clairemont Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Camino's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Thursday, El Camino and Canyon Crest Academy finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Clairemont kept a clean sheet against Canyon Hills on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rattlers. Given Clairemont's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while Canyon Hills is ranked 863rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
El Camino's draw gives them a new season record of 4-6-5. As for Clairemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-4 record this season.
