After a string of six wins, Wheaton North's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the South Elgin Storm. The game marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

While Wheaton North ultimately came up short, they really made South Elgin work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Wheaton North lost, don't look at Trey Hubner. Despite the final result, he had 15 assists and two aces. Hubner has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last three times he's played.
