On Monday, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South beat La Plata 62-51. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South.
  Isaiah Grey continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 21 points along with nine  rebounds and six  assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season.  Anthony Brent was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals.
 La Plata's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Dwayne Liggins, who  scored 18 points along with nine  rebounds and two  blocks. That's the first time this season that  Liggins  scored 15 or more  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cameron Harrold, who  scored eight points along with seven  rebounds.
 Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for La Plata, they bumped their record down to 4-7 with that  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will  challenge Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 69.8  points per game. As for La Plata, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Calvert at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Calvert is coming into the  matchup on a three-game losing streak.
