Travis Dye Puts an End to Anaconda's Losing Streak on Friday
Travis Dye helped snap Anaconda's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Friday Dye rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 90 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Anaconda's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Dye and Anaconda are taking a road trip to square off against Loyola-Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keeping Richardson company is Ethan Stack, a fellow Loyola-Sacred Heart player. He picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 68 yards.
Thompson Falls had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stack it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stack saw the Blue Hawks), he picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Florence-Carlton Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Mason Arlington
Mason Arlington's big game helped extend Florence-Carlton's winning streak to six on Friday. Arlington was unstoppable, throwing for 198 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 37 yards.
If the past is any indication, Arlington could be in store for another big game when he takes on Thompson Falls on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Arlington saw the Blue Hawks), he threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Rounding off our Top Five is Emmet Mckim of Lincoln County. Mckim picked up 31 receiving yards.
