Platte Valley extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lauryn Uyemura. The Platte Valley Broncos blew past the Woodland Park Panthers 73-12 on Saturday thanks in part to Uyemura, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 steals. Her afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
Another player making a difference was Addy Grossnickle, who posted two points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave her a new career-high.
Platte Valley's record now sits at 6-1. As for Woodland Park, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
