Despite the loss, Byron Nelson still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Moss, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds. The match was Moss' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyra Newton, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Byron Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Marcus, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
