They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 46-21 walloping at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. Lawrence Upper has not had much luck with Non Varsity Opponent recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Lawrence Upper saw an underclassman step up: Nohla Marbley scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Marbley has scored all season.
Lawrence Upper dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 114-214 record this season.
Lawrence Upper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Birchwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Birchwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Tuesday.
