Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mediapolis). Everything went their way against the Keokuk Chiefs on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-3 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Mediapolis' fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Keokuk, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Mediapolis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 victory against New London on the 12th. As for Keokuk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Fairfield on the 12th.
