The West Fork Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Hackett Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Fork is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, West Fork got themselves on the board against Cedarville, but Cedarville never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates 44-0 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for West Fork's 12-point performance the matchup before.
Meanwhile, Hackett was the victim of a rough 34-13 loss at the hands of Charleston on Friday.
The losing side was boosted by Cole Ketchum, who threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns. Ketchum was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Wyatt Hester was in the mix too, providing Hackett with two touchdowns.
West Fork's victory lifted them to 2-6 while Hackett's loss dropped them down to 4-3.
Everything came up roses for West Fork against Hackett in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Fork since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
