With a playoff win on the line, Valley Christian rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks 6-0. Considering the Trojans have won 21 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Cameron Bergloff made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
