When it comes to explaining why Bridgeland lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ibifaa Azogu. Despite the final result, she scored 22 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. It was another big night for Aniah Alexis, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 12 rebounds for Cypress Lakes. That makes it 24 consecutive games in which Alexis has scored at least a third of Cypress Lakes' points. Another player making a difference was Makennah Alexis, who scored ten points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Bridgeland will head out on the road to challenge Cypress Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Springs will roll in looking for their 25th straight victory, something Bridgeland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cypress Lakes, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Langham Creek at 7:00 p.m. Cypress Lakes is on a five-game streak of home wins, Langham Creek a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
