The Amherst Broncos won the last time they faced South Loup, and things went their way on Saturday too. Amherst blew past South Loup 62-28 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.
Among those leading the charge was Tayje Hadwiger, who scored 15 points along with 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Austin Adelung was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Amherst and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for South Loup, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
