After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Tahoma, Auburn Riverside was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Mt. Rainier Rams. The result was nothing new for the Ravens, who have now won ten contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Makenna Vircks looked comfortable as she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Seneca Aarstad, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Potter, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Auburn Riverside was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. They are 9-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Auburn Riverside's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-7. As for Mt. Rainier,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-7.
 Coming up, Auburn Riverside will take on Kentridge at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something the Ravens surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Rainier, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Tahoma  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last eight matchups.
