Jasper found their leader in underclassman Missy Odom, who scored 20 points along with two steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Odom posted two or more blocks. Hallie Harrell was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds.
Ramsay has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Jasper, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramsay will square off against Hayden at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hayden is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Jasper, they will head out on the road to face off against Hartselle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Hartselle is ranked 19th, while Jasper is ranked tenth).
