The University Prep Panthers stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 59-31 victory over Anderson. The win was familiar territory for University Prep who now have 12 in a row.
University Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Baron Grooms, who scored 11 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Steffan, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
University Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Anderson, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
University Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anderson, they will head out on the road to square off against West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully West Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
