Davis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brad Caldwell, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Leading Greenwood Christian to victory were Ty Kennedy and Isaiah Scott-palacios. Kennedy scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Scott-palacios scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kennedy has scored all season. Owen Whittington was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Oakbrook Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Greenwood Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Oakbrook Prep will head out on the road to take on Asheville T at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Asheville T knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Oakbrook Prep likes a good challenge. As for Greenwood Christian, they will take on Cathedral Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
