The Cameron Dragons lost to the Madonna Blue Dons last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Cameron enjoyed a cozy 62-48 win over Madonna. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cameron.
Madonna lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anthony Mascio, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca Muzzi, who scored 17 points.
Cameron's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Madonna, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Cameron won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Doddridge County at 2:00 p.m. on February 7th. Doddridge County will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Cameron surely won't give up without a fight. Madonna is on the road again on Friday and plays Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
