After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barnsdall, Regent Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Nathan Hale Rangers with a sharp 14-2 victory. The win continues a trend for Regent Prep in their matchups with Nathan Hale: they've now won five in a row.

Regent Prep got a massive performance out of John Mark Roller, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Roller has posted since back in April of 2024. Parker Pohl was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Regent Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Regent Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Nathan Hale, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Regent Prep will host Locust Grove at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Nathan Hale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Collinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
