Northwest entered their tilt with McKinney on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Texans: when they faced off against the Lions last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

While Northwest might've won, it sure wasn't easy: McKinney scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Levariya Pinder paced Northwest's offense, picking up eight kills. Pinder got some help from Tabitha Quella and her ten assists.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for McKinney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Northwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against V.R. Eaton on the 2nd. As for McKinney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Birdville on the 29th.
