Colin McCartney has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Mallard Creek team this season and he led the team again on Friday. McCartney was dialed in as he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against West Mecklenburg back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. McCartney is becoming a predictor of Mallard Creek's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-14 when he doesn't).
