This season hasn't been kind to the Albemarle School Colts, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They were outmatched by Eastern Christian HomeSchool at home and fell 72-38. Albemarle School was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-12.
Brenden Wooten and David Berry certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Wooten scored ten points along with three steals, while Berry scored 11 points along with four blocks. Wooten continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Albemarle School bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.
Albemarle School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbia at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against Terra Ceia Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Terra Ceia Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Eastern Christian HomeSchool likes a good challenge.
