North scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Blackstone-Millville Chargers by a score of 6-5. The loss continues a trend for the Polar Bears in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost five in a row.

North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Graves, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double. Javier Francique also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Blackstone-Millville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will square off against Southbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will face off against Sutton/Douglas at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
