Football Recap: Creighton Prep Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Creighton Prep had won two straight home games and Angelo Wallker did his part to make it three on Friday. The Junior Jays strolled past the Omaha Central Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 31-16 thanks in part to Wallker, who rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns. Wallker is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Creighton Prep, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Nico Kocmich, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Creighton Prep's defense and their four sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: David Heine and Ayron Shaw, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Creighton Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Omaha Central, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.
