After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Cross, Torrington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Kennedy Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the Raiders' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Torrington wouldn't go down easily and took Kennedy into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-27, 22-25, 25-22, 15-4.
