Clifton posted their biggest win since March 22, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Crawford Pirates with a sharp 7-1 victory. For the Cubs, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Clifton and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Clifton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-5 tie against Florence on the 22nd. As for Crawford, they will take on Kerens in a tournament on Friday.
