Gulliver Prep came out on top against St. Brendan on Friday thanks in part to Brendan Beery's efforts. Beery threw for 183 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in passer rating.

Beery and Gulliver Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ransom Everglades at 2:30 p.m. on the 14th. The contest will pit Beery up against Ransom Everglades' star signal caller Matthew Guevara.
