On Wednesday, Grasso Tech really took it to Bolton for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-28 victory at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-15.
Grasso Tech had a senior duo take command as Charis Johnson scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists and Nick Stavesky scored 20 points along with six assists and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stavesky has scored at least 25% of Grasso Tech's points. Jerry Santiago was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Grasso Tech now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bolton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Grasso Tech's homestand continues as they prepare to take on East Lyme at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. East Lyme will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Bolton, they will head out on the road to face off against Canton at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
