The Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Open Door Christian Academy Conquerors at 4:00 p.m. on January 16th.
Last Tuesday, Christian Academy of Louisiana took a serious blow against Christian Home Educators Fellowship, falling 81-30. While losing is never fun, Christian Academy of Louisiana can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while Christian Home Educators Fellowship is ranked 54th).
Meanwhile, Open Door Christian Academy had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Christian HomeSchool Sports Association of Acadiana on Friday and snuck past 64-62. Open Door Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Christian Academy of Louisiana now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Open Door Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Christian Academy of Louisiana didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Open Door Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-44 victory.
