Another player making a difference was Tucker Schlueter, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win got Winters back to even at 3-3. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Winters won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Quanah at 11:40 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ballinger at 3:40 p.m. Ballinger will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1091st, while Valley is ranked 394th).
