Basketball Recap: Bridgehampton Skates Past Shelter Island with Ease

Bridgehampton waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Shelter Island Islanders to the tune of 76-28. The match marked the Killer Bees' most dominant win of the season.

Leading Bridgehampton to victory were Jai Feaster and Alex Davis. Feaster posted 23 points, while Davis put up 16 points. The contest was Davis' third in a row with at least ten points. Jaylin Harding was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bridgehampton pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Shelter Island, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

After both having extra time off, Bridgehampton and Smithtown Christian will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Shelter Island, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ross at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
