The matchup between Oshkosh West and Wautoma on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 13-7 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Oshkosh West got a massive performance out of Landon Ubrig, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Evan Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

The victory got Oshkosh West back to even at 1-1. As for Wautoma, their record now sits at 0-2.
