Lakin waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Stanton County Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win last Tuesday.

Lakin easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14.

Lakin's win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Stanton County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.

Lakin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southwestern Heights on the 11th. As for Stanton County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Elkhart on the 11th.
