A Season-Best Effort from Jacob Brown Leads Pine Bush over Warwick
Pine Bush came up short on Thursday despite Jacob Brown delivering his best game to date. Brown rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Pine Bush's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. Brown and Pine Bush will take on Newburgh Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Pine Bush came up short on Thursday despite Jemire Bey-Dominick delivering his best game to date. Bey-Dominick rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Noah Flores' Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Monroe-Woodbury was led to victory by Noah Flores, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Flores rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.
The win for Monroe-Woodbury keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Flores and Monroe-Woodbury will take on Kingston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Maldonado Posts Huge Game in 28-24 Win
Ethan Maldonado was instrumental in extending Monroe-Woodbury's winning streak to six on Thursday. Maldonado was dynamite, throwing for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
On the season, Maldonado has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 134.2 passing yards per game.
