She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowan McNeese, who earned seven points and ten rebounds.
Antonito found their leader in sophomore Shyanne Martinez, who went 10-for-17 on her way to 20 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martinez has scored all season. Destanaya Quintana was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.
Lake City Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Antonito, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-11.
Lake City Community has already played their next match, a 63-15 defeat against Centennial on the 15th. As for Antonito, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-16 loss against Sangre de Cristo on the 15th.
