The Geneva Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past North Rose-Wolcott 55-26 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Geneva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaitlyn Wright, who scored six points along with eight assists and eight steals. That's the first time this season that Wright posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Allie Good, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Geneva's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for North Rose-Wolcott, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Geneva will head out on the road to square off against Honeoye at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Honeoye comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for North Rose-Wolcott, they will be playing at home against Gananda Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gananda Central will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
