The IMG Academy Blue Ascenders lost against the Providence School Stallions back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. IMG Academy Blue fell 52-40 to Providence School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points IMG Academy Blue has scored all season.
Providence School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Mcabee, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Chris Arias, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
IMG Academy Blue's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Providence School, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
IMG Academy Blue will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Providence School and Shabach Christian Academy will face off at 8:30 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Shabach Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
