Tyler (Texas) snapped the 4-game winning streak of
Frisco (Texas), with a 46-28 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run, the Raccoons went into halftime with a 21-17 lead. The Lions took the lead for good with a passing touchdown in the third quarter.
With the win Tyler extended its winning streak to 11 games. THS defeated the Pirates 38-10 last week.
Greg Ward stood out for the Lions in the win. The senior ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 10 touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Frisco defeated Samuell 42-7 last week.
