On Friday, The Heritage Christian Eagles got themselves on the board against the Shenandoah Raiders, but the Shenandoah Raiders never followed suit. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for Heritage Christian, who have now won three matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.
Leading Heritage Christian to victory were Eli Nix and Elijah Pimental. Nix threw for 142 yards and four touchdowns, while Pimental rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Pimental is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played. Vaughn Johnson was another key contributor, rushing for 108 yards on only 14 carries.
The win makes it two in a row for Heritage Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38 points. As for Shenandoah, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Heritage Christian will head out on the road to face off against Winchester Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winchester Community will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
