Seaholm is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Mott is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Seaholm Maples will take on the Mott Corsairs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Seaholm beat Groves 56-49. That's two games straight that Seaholm has won by exactly seven points.
Meanwhile, Mott was able to grind out a solid victory over Franklin on Saturday, taking the game 41-34.
Kalieb Osborne was his usual excellent self, rushing for 218 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 303 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Geno Seets, who picked up 193 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Seaholm to 9-1 and Mott to 8-2.
