Newark extended their postseason success on Thursday against Serena. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskers. Winning may never get old, but the Norsemen sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Leading Newark to victory were Ella Bromeland and Taylor Jeffers. Bromeland had nine assists and seven digs, while Jeffers had 18 assists and eight digs. Jeffers has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last nine times she's played. Cayla Pottinger also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
