Killdeer/Halliday added to the longest winning streak in A Region 4 this week by beating Garrison/Max, 71-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Killdeer/Halliday led the league in scoring this week after putting up 71 points on the Troopers.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Hazen and Chuck Wagner's team. The Bison enters the game ranked eighth in the state, while the Cowboys ranks 15th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hazen takes on Killdeer/Halliday. Rick Philion's team has allowed 27 points this season, while the Cowboys have given up 61.
Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,345 from 11,565. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 44-6 victory over Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing] last week.
